Virginia Legal Use of Force
Our Legal Use of Force class is a must for anyone in Virginia who carries a firearm. During this 1-hour course, Jay Hermoso will cover important legal topics and laws governing the legal use of force inside and outside the home.
Topics include the legal definition of reasonable force and deadly force, and the use-of-force continuum, as well as and how prosecutors and jurors evaluate a claim of self-defense. The training concludes with a discussion on using force to defend your home and property, and a Q&A session with the instructor.

About the Instructor
Jay Hermoso is an ardent supporter of the Second Amendment with extensive knowledge of Virginia gun laws and the legal use of deadly force. He is an NRA certified firearms instructor, a USCCA Certified Instructor and a Concealed Firearms Instructor with the State of Utah, Bureau of Criminal Identification, as well as a member of the NRA, USCCA and the Virginia Citizens Defense League.
