Understanding Virginia gun laws is an essential part of being a responsible gun owner, and with several aggressive gun control bills recently passed by the Virginia legislature – and headed to the Governor’s office for signature – it’s more important than ever for firearms owners to stay current on legislation.
While proponents of the bills claim that the intent is to prevent gun violence, gun owners and Second Amendment supporters argue that the legislation significantly infringes on self-defense capabilities and the right to keep and bear firearms.
If you are a gun owner and concealed carry permit holder, here are some key details you should know about the newly proposed Virginia gun laws.
